A semi-fictional working class lamentation captured on the outskirt industrial areas of New York City. Photographed on gritty black and white Super 8, the film reverberates the sentiments of a worker grinding away another day in a never-ending cycle of generational labor.
A Thousand Ways to Run(2024)
A man returns to his former workplace in an act of drunken revenge only to wake the next day to find himself trapped in a torrent of anxiety over the crime.
Empty House (2022)
Shot on B&W super 8 and 35mm still film, Empty House is a personal reflection and film poem made following a visit to my family's foreclosed home; the house which had been abandoned for years still containing a layer of stark yet decomposing familiarity.
Harquahala Mountain Wilderness (2021)
Filmed on VHS and Super 8 in the deserts of the southwestern Arizona, the film is a reflection on the end of the Trump era, filled with political hysteria, conspiracy theories, and disconnected realities. It is simultaneously an examination of the desert as an environment open to boundless human interpretation, yet seemingly indifferent to the affairs of humankind.
Do You Think Jesus Liked Hardboiled Eggs (2020)
A quick-tempered hitchhiker catches a ride with an evangelist - filmed in southern Arizona, the film examines the American desert, those who in inhabit it, and how they choose to do so.
